1) Tony Randall received an Emmy for playing the character Felix Unger (just as did Jack Klugman for playing Oscar Madison)
2) John Astin played Lt. Com. Matthew Sherman but was better known for playing Gomez Addams on “The Addams Family”
3) Another Jennifer, Aniston, played Ferris’s sister on TV before she became a Friend.
4) Hope Lange played Mrs. Muir for 50 episodes, just before she took Mary Tyler Moore’s wife role in “The New Dick van Dyke Show”.
5) Richard Basehart played Adm. Nelson in the TV version of “Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea” (which was practically an Irwin Allen docu-drama, except for the werewolves and sea-weed men.)
